6 years agoUnclean , unorganized and just unappetizing and over priced. Restrooms haven't been detailed clean in who knows when! Food was all offer the floor behind the serving counter, and ice on the floor near salad bar that I had to bring to the managements attention even though he stood next to me. I try to be fair in my opinions but i can't excuse anything I experienced.

6 years agoFood was pretty good I really love the salad bar the crab salad is on point! The wing dings are good a little to salty but still good. They had ribs on the bar the day I went they were really good. Place is clean and great service! I'll definitely go back!

Edited 7 years agoThe saying, “ everything does not appear as it seems” describes this place. Our plane landed and we were looking for a place to sit and the food was already prepared.... a buffet!! This place was first on the search. When we arrived, we were not sure if we were going to get out and eat. The restaurant was very dingy looking on the outside and inside. We were allowed to look at the buffet before we paid. The food looked good so we decided to stay and eat. It was not crowded and the price was decent for two adult buffets and drinks. We were actually surprised. The restaurant could use a coat of paint and some new furniture. Step into 2018. If we are in the area, we would definitely eat here again.

8 years agoI mean it's Ponderosa, and it's really sad to me that all the ponderosas in Michigan seem to be closing. This is comfort food from like when I was in the fifth grade and there was a Ponderosa next to the Catholic school that I used to go to and I would go there probably once a week. Dude it's Dirt Cheap to get the salad bar here that has those chicken wings that there are the exact same as they were when I was little and the rolls are the same too. And it's not going to be the most amazing food on Earth but it is the most amazing cheap food on Earth as far as all-you-can-eat goes. So I'm glad I got here. And hopefully next time I really want to binge on really bad for me comfort food I'll come back again and it'll still be open.

8 years agoThis place used to be better. I went today and got a shrimp dish w/buffet. The chili was watery. The recipe for the chicken wings has apparently changed, and it's not for the better. I asked for fried shrimp and got grilled. It was over-seasoned and awful. The salad bar is still a good value, but that's about it. Kinda hard to screw that up, but I'm sure they'll find a way. The waitress I had has worked there a long time and this time didn't refill my tea. She used to be good, but I think the place (whether due to bad ownership or bad management) has beaten down even her. What a shame.

8 years agoThis place is horrible, the buffet was the nastiest food I ever had in my whole entire life. The food look like everything came out of a can. It's just not worth the price at all, I would of rather went to a soup kitchen. They would have had a better quality of food then this place. The ceiling tiles had nasty brown stains on them, the pop machine had some type of scum or grime coming from the bottom of it like it never been cleaned. I won't even take my dog to come eat here! I will never ever eat at this place again even if I was starving. I really don't see how they are still open.
